    Description

Manosplint Carolina is a low-temperature thermoplastic that provides strong support – ideal for patients with a lot of tone. Carolina is very easy to work with and has a great ‘feel’ when molding.

Other features include: moderate memory, moderate resistance to stretch, moderate drape, high rigidity, quick, permanent bonding and resists fingerprints.

Manosplint Carolina can be printed to provide fun, exciting splints – please select your pattern below or contact us if you want a custom design.

    Memory:

Moderate memory allows for light modifications and edge finishing.

    Resistance to stretch (RTS):

High – can be handled firmly.

    Drape:
Low drape enables material to be handled firmly and is ideal for larger splints.

    Rigidity:
High. Carolina holds shape against the pull of the patient or dynamic components.
    Bonding & Finish:
This non-coated material is slightly sticky and stays in place during application. It will easily form a permanent bond during orthosis fabrication. The firm material resists fingerprints to give a smooth, matt finish. The edges ‘self seal’ easily if the material is cut when still warm.
    Colors:
The base material is provided in white only, however it may be printed with any design. (Printing is provided on the ‘Demi’ 30.5 x 46cm size only).

    Perforations:
Available as solid or 1% perforation

    Sizes & Thicknesses:
    Available in 3 sizes: Demi 12″ x 18″ (30.5 x 46cm), Standard 18″ x 24″ (46 x 61cm) and Large 24″ x 36″ (61 x 92cm)
Available in 0.1″ (3.2mm) thickness only.
