Orthopedic Traction

The Kinetec® Traction System is a product developed and tested in order to enable any set up for Traction, Suspension, Mobilization & Posture. These are adaptable for all adult or children’s hospital beds. It is composed of:

• Octagonal cubes of anodised aluminium of 34mm, high-strength, of glossed and luxurious presentation
• Notched holding clamps offering sixteen positions around the tube axis and assuring against dislocation
• a fixing interface allowing anchoring, at the head, foot or in transversal of the bed
• Carry-pulleys ensuring free plan of the pulley in all axes, thus supressing force from friction or derailment of the traction cord
• Traction accessories allowing a precise positioning of the mobilized limbs

The Kinetec® Traction System solves the daily needs in:

Traction involves applying force to a specific part of the body, counteracting the patient’s body weight. The therapeutic goals of traction are to prevent or reduce muscle spasms, immobilize a joint or body part, reduce fractures or dislocations, and treat joint pathology.

There are numerous configurations for traction and suspension frames. It’s essential for medical staff to understand the patient’s condition to choose the right equipment. They also need to know the bed’s make and model, the pathology involved, and the required treatment duration.
